“Pontoonworks have provided us with a friendly, competitive and excellent service over the past few years. They supply us with pontoons to assist us with our highly popular Dragon Boat Races. The quality of their work has always been high and we have been very pleased with the work they have done for us.”

The Team
Together they hold a wide range of skills, expertise and experience which means the team at Pontoonworks can provide clients with unrivalled customer service and great operational performance.
Chris Murphy – Managing Director
Chris took on the UK distributorship of Jetfloat International in 2005 after two years working as General Manager for the company, during which he installed numerous floating platforms in a variety of international locations. With 10 years as a Design Technical Illustrator for the MoD, and experience of life on the sea as First Mate on tall ship Phoenix, when he sailed around the Continent and back, Chris has a wealth of maritime and engineering knowledge. These combined skills qualified Chris to realise the full potential of the modular pontoon system, allowing Pontoonworks to offer innovative solutions to the challenges of work on water across the commercial, events and marine sectors.
Graham Harding – Chairman
Graham has been working with us for the past three years. His boundless knowledge has developed though spells as a professional historian, publisher and AD man. Eventually he co-founded The Value Engineers, a strategic brand consultancy where, to give mere mortals the chance of acquiring some of his expertise, he co-wrote The Bluffers Guide to Marketing (several times Britain's bestselling business book). As we forge a new path in our industry it is great to have him at our side.
David Alvis – Financial Director
With so much going on someone needs to keep an eye on the numbers; as a founding partner of Alvis Company Chartered Accountants, David specialises in advising owner-managed businesses as well as private individuals. Having worked with and advised clients from start-up right through to trade sale, David is helping us realise our full commercial potential.
Murray Pulman – Operations Manager
10 years of service with the Weymouth Lifeboat, one of the busiest stations on the south coast, and work off shore for the marine salvage industry are just a small part of Murray's life on water. As our Operations Manager, with a team of permanent and temporary staff, he brings impeccable Health and Safety skills and 'attention to detail' to each and every Pontoonworks installation. His energy and passion for what we do is infectious and certainly keeps us all busy. With new pontoon enthusiasts and converts requiring our services we are looking to expand his team in 2011.
The Office Team
Our busy operations across the UK are supported by a hard working team at our office in Dorset:
Stacey Patterson – HR and Office Administrator
Belinda Raymond – Accounts
Sharon Murphy - Accounts
