We have coped with rapid growth, increased staff and have created a valued service for other contactors as well as facilitating exciting events and projects.
Pontoonworks has evolved rapidly since its launch; branding an unequalled hire service for floating work platforms. We provide a smooth professional and knowledgeable service when it comes to accessing and utilising space on water.
Although our comprehensive hire service is relatively new to the UK, Pontoonworks has its roots stemming back over a 40-year history in the form of Jetfloat UK, previously the sales arm for Jetfloat International.
Chris Murphy, Managing Director, has worked with the Jetfloat system since the mid-nineties, firstly doing marine coordination and props for large film productions. In 2005 he was offered the Jetfloat distributorship, an opportunity that has enabled him to realise for the first time the full potential of the Jetfloat system.
We have since appointed a CEO, Financial Director and Chairman to secure and guide the long term strategy of the business, leaving the original technical experts at the disposal of our clients.
